Two London mamas. One big idea.

We met at The Bump Class (a London based antenatal class) and something just clicked. We had so much in common: both busy, working, mamas-to-be (Olivia a lawyer and Aasiya working in luxury marketing for Stella McCartney) with very little spare time to do...well, anything!

We started talking and swapping stories and both realised how overwhelmed we were with all the pregnancy products out there and discussed how on earth we would go about even starting to sift out the best – and importantly – the most useful items from such a massive marketplace. Which cream? Which oil? What ingredients? So much is on offer now, it’s so hard to know what you really need and even then, which brands do you go for?

Two lunches, several decaf lattes and a notebook full of scribbles later, Bump to Box was born! We realised there was a big gap in the market for busy mamas / mamas-to-be, who like us, want to have access to the best products and services, but who don’t necessarily have time to spend researching (let alone the time to actually get to the shops). Enter Bump to Box.

Knowing what you should be buying when you’re expecting is hard enough but so is buying a present for someone who is pregnant. What does a soon-to-be grandma or doting partner buy for their loved one these days? We all know there’s so much out there for those precious little babas (once they make their appearance) and as lovely as that is, we’re very aware that mamas too often get forgotten in all the excitement of a new baby coming. We want to change that, so we’re all about mama AND baba (we’re also about papa too…watch this space!).

We want you / your loved one to have it all and most of all, we want to make it easy, convenient and to throw in some luxury too (because let’s face it, who doesn’t need a bit of pampering once in a while?).
